LED MAT Does Not Sync, or GRANBOARD LEDs Malfunction When Connected


Issue Description

  • The GRANBOARD and LED Mat does not sync (colors do not change)

  • Connection issue between the dartboard and the app.


Possible Causes

  1. Insufficient power supply

  2. USB cable you use does not support data transmission

  3. Using both AA batteries and USB charger simultaneously

  4. LED MAT setting in the GranBoard app is turned off


Solutions

Check USB Charger Amperage

Required Power

  • LED MAT: 2.4A or higher

  • GRANBOARD: 1.5A or higher (2.4A recommended)


Common Error

Are you using a Dual-Port USB?

Dual-port USB charger with 2.4A maximum output may only supply 1.2A per port when both ports are in use. This causes insufficient power and LED malfunction.


Use a Data-Transfer USB Cable

Changing LED color is controlled by the app.

It is required to transfer signals:

AppGRANBOARDLED MAT PC BOXLED MAT


If you're using a charge-only cable, the LED effects will not sync.

Always use the USB cable that came with the product.


Remove AA Batteries

Make sure you are not using batteries.

To enjoy the LED effects, please use a USB power source.


Enable LED MAT Sync in App Settings

  1. Launch the GranBoard app

  2. Gear icon on the top screen

  3. Navigate to the LED tab

  4. Turn on GRAN MAT LED linked
