LED
LED Do Not Light or Keep Showing Rainbow
Issue Description
The LED is not lighting up or continuously show a rainbow.
Possible Causes
Using AA batteries
Insufficient Power Supply
Solution
Remove AA Battery
Make sure you are not using batteries.
LED lighting requires more power than batteries can provide.
To enjoy the LED effects, please use a USB power source.
Check Your USB Adapter
If you are not using batteries, yet experience the issue?
The issue may be related to your USB adapter.
Power Requirements
To use the LED function, you need a USB adapter with at least 1.5A output (2.4A or more is recommended).
Avoid Using Multi-Port Adapters
Even if your USB adapter has a maximum output of 2.4A, using an adapter with multiple ports can cause issues.
If you are using the same USB adapter to charge your device alongside the GRANBOARD, the amperage will be divided between them, resulting in insufficient power and causing this issue.
Example
A USB adapter with a maximum output of 2.4A and two ports will output only 1.2A per port when both are in use.
Still Having Issues?
If the LEDs still not work as expect after trying the steps above, please contact customer support with the following information.
A clear photo of your USB adapter showing the output rating
A copy of your purchase receipt with the date
A video showing the LED issue on your GRANBOARD (optional but helpful)
