Calibration

Overview

If you notice that scoring accuracy has decreased after adjusting the board's position or after a board rotation, you can easily recalibrate using the app.

Types of Calibration

  • Auto Calibration: Works with most boards on the market

  • Manual Calibration: A backup option if auto calibration doesn't work accurately

Auto Calibration Steps

  1. Open the Gran Darts App and tap "GRAN EYE" on the homepage

  2. Scroll down to find "Left Camera Calibration Check" and "Right Camera Calibration Check"

  3. Tap either option and press "Auto Calibration" (this takes about one second)

  4. Repeat the same process for the other camera

Manual Calibration Steps

If auto calibration doesn't provide accurate results, use manual calibration:

  1. Tap "Left Camera Calibration Check" and select "Manual Calibration"

  2. You will see four main calibration points on the screen. Confirm whether each point aligns with the reference image shown

  3. The app will zoom in on each point. Check if the point sits on the crosshair. The AI will automatically adjust the position, but if it's not accurate enough, use the arrow pad to fine-tune it manually (repeat this 4 times for all points)

  4. Review the mapping check to ensure all lines align with the dartboard's blades/wires

  5. Once complete, repeat the same process for the right camera
