Why the Camera Isn’t Detected


Issue Description

Both camera’s LED is solid green, but the app can't find the camera.


Camera LED Meanings

  • Green blinking: Attempting Wi-Fi connection

  • Solid green: Wi-Fi connection successful

  • Solid red: Wi-Fi connection failed


Possible Causes

  1. Camera and Device on Different Wi-Fi Networks

  2. Missing App Permissions


Solution

Connect to the Same Wi-Fi Network

Both the camera and device are connected to Wi-Fi, but if they're connected to different networks, they cannot detect each other.


Think of networks like rooms.

If the camera and device are in the same room (network), they can find each other.

If they're in separate rooms (networks), they cannot find each other.


Verify that your camera and device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (SSID)


Grant All Permissions

The app will only request for a required permissions to establish connection.

Please make sure to access all permissions includes:

  • Bluetooth

  • Location

  • Nearby device

etc.


For iOS

  1. Open Settings on your iOS device

  2. Navigate to AppsGranDarts

  3. Enable Local Network access



For Android

  1. Open Settings on your Android device

  2. Navigate to AppsGranDartsPermissions

  3. Enable the following permissions:

  • Location

  • Nearby Devices
