Camera LED Won’t Turn Solid Green After QR Scan
Issue Description
After scanning the QR code, the camera does not connect and the LED keeps repeating this pattern:
Green flashing → Red → Green flashing → Red…
Possible Causes
Incorrect Wi-Fi information (SSID or password)
Attempting to connect to a 5 GHz network
Attempting to connect to a guest Wi-Fi network
Solution
Reset the Wi-Fi Information
Before troubleshooting, reset the camera's Wi-Fi information.
How to reset Wi-Fi information
Press and holdthe button (located about 5cm below the camera lens)Release the button when the indicator starts
flashing red rapidlyWait for the camera to reboot.
When the indicator shows red flashing, the reset is complete.
Cause 1: Incorrect SSID or Password
If the SSID or password entered is incorrect, the connection will fail. Double-check both the SSID and password you entered.

Cause 2: Using a 5GHz Wi-Fi Network
GRAN EYE only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
It cannot connect to 5GHz networks.
How to check?
If the SSID contains 5G, it is likely a 5GHz network.

Cause 3: Using a Guest Wi-Fi Network
Some routers have guest SSIDs.
e.g. Network Guest
Guest networks often restrict device-to-device communication, which prevents the camera from connecting to the app.
Avoid using guest network, and use your main Wi-Fi network.
Once you find any mistake
Correct them
Re-generate the QR code
Re-scan the QR code
*Always reset the camera's Wi-Fi information when re-scanning the QR code.
