When Is an Automatic Forfeit Triggered?
Overview
When a participant is absent or withdraws from a match, it can significantly disrupt the tournament's progress. To prevent delays, organizers can enable an automatic forfeit timer that disqualifies players who fail to show up within a specified time limit.
Forfeit: A loss that occurs when a player is absent or withdraws from a match.
How to Set Up the Forfeit Timer
For Organizers
When creating your tournament, you can set the forfeit timer anywhere between 1 and 30 minutes. Choose a reasonable time limit that works for your tournament format.

For Participants
Always check if the tournament you're joining has a forfeit timer enabled. Be punctual to avoid automatic disqualification.

When Does the Timer Start?
First Round (ROUND 1):
The timer starts the moment the tournament begins
Subsequent Rounds (ROUND 2 ~ FINAL):
The timer starts when your opponent is determined (when the new match is set)
What You Need to Do
Once the tournament begins or your opponent is determined, enter the Waiting Room through the GranBoard app. Players who fail to enter the Waiting Room within the time limit will automatically forfeit the match.
You can freely enter and exit the Waiting Room until your opponent arrives.
Important Note: When less than 1 minute remains on the timer, you cannot leave the Waiting Room. This prevents accidental forfeits.
Be punctual and enjoy the tournament!
