Check In to a Tournament

Overview

The check-in feature allows organizers to confirm that participants are ready to join the tournament. Organizers can set a check-in period starting 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour before the tournament begins.

To all participant, we strongly recommend checking in as soon as the check-in period starts. Simply go to the tournament tab at the start time and click "Confirm."

The check-in feature allows tournament organizers to confirm participants' readiness to join. Organizers set a check-in period before the tournament starts, enabling participants to confirm their attendance in advance.

Check-in Period

Organizers can start the check-in period at one of the following times:

• 15 minutes before the match starts

• 30 minutes before the match starts

• 1 hour before the match starts

During this period, participants can check in via the tournament tab in the app.

Participant Procedure

1. Open the GranBoard app before the tournament begins.

2. Select the "Tournaments" tab.

3. Choose the relevant tournament and tap the "Check In" button.

Once checked in, the organizer will see the participant marked as "Ready to Participate."

Organizer Management Functions

Organizers can monitor check-in status and take the following actions:

• Mark unchecked-in participants as Absent (Withdrawn)

• Follow up with unchecked-in players

This ensures smooth proceedings when the tournament begins.

Note

Check-in is a crucial step for both participants and organizers. To prevent last-minute issues before matches start, please check early once the check-in window opens.
