How to Play Remote Doubles
Overview
Remote Doubles lets you team up with a friend in a different location to play doubles matches online against other players.
You can always communicate with your doubles partner via in-app calls while searching for opponents in the lobby.
Before You Start
Make sure you are already friends with your partner on the GRAN platform. You cannot pair up without being friends first.
Understanding Player Roles
1st Player
The 1st Player controls the app during doubles mode and is responsible for:
Sending the partner request
Adjusting game options
Sending and accepting match requests
2nd Player
The 2nd Player simply accepts the pairing request. After that, the 1st Player handles all other operations.
How to Pair Up
Steps for the 1st Player
Launch the app and tap "ONLINE PLAY"
Select "Remote Doubles"
Select "1st Player"
Choose your player profile
Find your friend in the list and tap "REQUEST"
Note: Friends currently in an online match will not appear in the list. Wait for your friend to accept the request.

Steps for the 2nd Player
Launch the app and tap "ONLINE PLAY"
Select "Remote Doubles"
Select "2nd Player"
Choose your player profile
Wait for the request from your friend and tap "ACCEPT"
Once accepted, both players will enter the lobby selection screen.

Play Singles While Waiting (2nd Player)
If you're the 2nd Player and your friend isn't ready yet, you can play singles matches while waiting:
On the pairing waiting screen, tap "Play singles while waiting"
Enjoy singles matches until your friend sends the partner request
