Initial Connection
Overview
After completing the GRAN EYE setup, you need to connect GRAN EYE to the Gran Darts App for the first time.
What You'll Do
Follow these steps to complete the initial setup:
Connect GRAN EYE to Wi-Fi
Connect GRAN EYE to the Gran Darts App
Adjust camera focus
Calibrate the cameras
Test echo and scoring
Important
GRAN EYE only works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks.
It cannot connect to 5GHz Wi-Fi networks or routers that don't let you choose between 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
Step 1: Start Initial Setup in the App
Open the Gran Darts App
Tap "GRAN EYE" on the Homepage
Tap "Start the Initial Setup"
Turn on your GRAN EYE base unit
Step 2: Enter Wi-Fi Information and Connect GRAN EYE to Wi-Fi
The app will display a QR code containing your Wi-Fi information.
Enter your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, then tap "Next".
Point the left camera at the QR code on your screen to scan it
When the light turns solid green, the left camera is connected
Now scan the same QR code with the right camera
Wait for the right camera light to turn solid green
Tip: You can enlarge the QR code on your screen to make it easier to scan.
The app will now search for your GRAN EYE cameras on the network and connect them.

Step 3: Confirm Camera Position
The app will ask you to confirm which camera is which.
Follow the instructions in the app
Confirm when your left camera blinks light blue
Tap to confirm the camera position
Step 4: Adjust Camera Focus
Follow the instructions in the app to adjust the focus for each camera.
You will do this for both the left and right cameras.

Step 5: Calibrate the Cameras
After adjusting the focus, the app will guide you through camera calibration.
Follow the instructions in the app to complete the calibration.

Step 6: Test Echo and Scoring
The app will ask you to test the system.
Throw 3 darts at the board
Check that GRAN EYE detects each dart and scores it correctly
Initial Setup Complete!
Once both cameras are calibrated and the test is successful, your initial setup is complete.
You can readjust focus and calibration anytime from Menu > Device Setting > GRAN EYE > Board Setting. If you notice frequent scoring errors during gameplay, try readjusting these settings.
