With Ver.2.8.0, the Tournament feature (Beta) is now available!
In this article, we’ll introduce what you can do with Tournaments.
If you’ve used the previous tournament service (in the GranBoard app), we’ll also explain what has changed and where you can access the new tournaments.
What you can do with GranDarts Tournaments
GranDarts Tournaments let you gather online and enjoy matches with other users.
Both participants and hosts have a simple flow to follow.
◼︎ Join a tournament
Access GRAN ONLINE (https://tournament.gran-darts.com/)
Log in with the same account you use in the app
Browse the tournament list and find one you’re interested in
Check the schedule and rules, then join with the “Entry” button
◼︎ Play your matches
Matches are played in the GranDarts app.
Open the GranDarts app and go to the Tournament tab
When a match card is delivered for your tournament, tap it to join your match
◼︎ Create a tournament
Anyone can easily create and host a tournament.
Access GRAN ONLINE (https://tournament.gran-darts.com/)
Log in with the same account you use in the app
Click “Create Tournament” to set up your tournament
◼︎ Automatic progression for smooth hosting
Once the tournament starts, the system progresses automatically.
Match cards are delivered automatically to all participants
As matches proceed, the next matches advance automatically
This lowers the barrier of “Running a tournament sounds difficult…” and makes it easy for anyone to host.
Start by trying a small tournament with 4 or 8 players!
◼︎ Tournament group chat
Each tournament has a dedicated group chat for participants.
Use it to greet each other before matches, coordinate the flow, or leave comments while watching and cheering.
A translation feature is also available, so you can communicate with players in other languages with confidence. Enjoy connecting with other participants!
What’s different from the previous GranBoard app tournaments?
The new tournament service has been redesigned and updated based on the challenges of the previous service.
Fixed issues seen in the past
We’ve addressed problems that could disrupt progress, such as duplicate entries and matches getting stuck.
A simpler, more comfortable UI
Performance and usability have been improved so information is smoother to view and easier to navigate.
Add moderators
Hosts can now add moderators—useful when you want multiple people to manage operations and progress together.
Steel darts tournaments are now possible
You can now enjoy tournaments in an even wider range of play styles.
⚠️ This is a separate service from the previous tournaments
Because the new tournament service is separate from the previous one, all participants must install the GranDarts app to join new tournaments.

The feature is currently available as a beta, and we’ll continue to update it regularly. Support for doubles formats and more is planned for future updates.
