Introduction
This article will provide information about specification changes from the GRAN EYE next batch and how to handle existing inventory.
What Has Changed?
We have made significant changes to the GRAN EYE product configuration.
With the renewal version, Installation is now possible without removing the already installed dartboard, and no screws or screwdrivers are required.
⚠️ There is no difference in scoring accuracy.
Changes to Included Accessories
The separately sold MagMount has been added to the included accessories

Change 1 - New MagMount
Starting with the next delivery batch, MagMount is included in the package.
The new MagMount is divided into three main components
Echo
Mounting Arm
Arm Extension
1. Echo
The Echo is integrated into the base of the MagMount. The cable is detachable, which reduces the risk of wire breakage.
The Echo is installed at three locations on the back of the dartboard: numbers 14, 13, and 3.
2. Mounting Arm
By connecting the mounting arm to the Echo, anyone can install the camera at the correct distance and angle.
3. Arm Extension
By using the Arm Extension between the Echo and Mounting Arm, you can easily install the hub.
Both sides of the Extension are convenient for organizing cables.
Change 2 - Hub
The component previously called the Base Unit has been renamed to Hub, and its functionality has also been updated.
SYNC LED port
The port for the optional SYNC LED has been updated to a USB Type-C port.
Type-C is easier to use, does not require checking the orientation when plugging in, user-friendly standard.
Dartboard Light port
The additional USB port has been updated to USB Type-C and is now dedicated as a dartboard light port.
By connecting a power cable to this port, the Hub can control the power supply for dartboard lights, including third-party products.
*Please note that some products may require a Type-C adapter.
We are also currently developing a new dartboard light product as part of the GranDarts lineup.
USB connection port
The port used for wired connection of GRAN EYE has been changed from Type-A to Type-C.
Previously, users needed to prepare an additional OTG adapter for wired connection.
With this update, OTG functionality is now built into the Hub, eliminating the need for extra adapters.
In addition, a USB connection cable is now included as part of the standard accessories.
No additional OTG adapter is required
No additional USB cable is required
This means users can simply connect the Hub and their device using the included cable and start using GRAN EYE with a wired connection immediately.
